Hi, so I know nobody knows what's going on with covid, BUT, during lockdown I've decided when this is all over I'm going to quit my job and go solo travelling. I'm 22 and have started feeling as though working a 9-5 for 50 years just isn't for me - there must be something more to life! Thailand is usually the best first time country (so I've heard) and I've always wanted to go, but the odds of me going this British winter, when the correct season is in Thailand, is so unlikely because of covid. I want to go and be free, not be restricted by rules. But the thought of me waiting a year and a half to finally get out there gives me major stress. Is there anything people would suggest? I want to go to Thailand when the weather is perfect but this time next year it will be rain season, I would be open to going somewhere else if the backpacking scene was good! Let me know your thoughts :) xx

Personally I think it's best just to wait and see and not make any plans. The uncertain times at the moment make it super frustrating but unfortunately we just gotta push through. Fingers crossed somewhere like Thailand will be fully open by January but don't see it as the be all end all. On the bright side, the longer you have to stay at home, the more money you can save for a more epic trip!
