These however can get extremely expensive. Some even more costly than the TVs themselves. But the techphile/cinephile in your life would love it. Every film buff is familiar with the prestigious American Film Institute. What better way to reward their passion for films than allowing your 123movie buff to become part of that institute by buying them a membership to the AFI.
Expedition Happiness is a must watch! Its on Netflix and it's about a couple who convert a USA school bus into a home living space and travel around America and its soooo good! p.s they also have a dog with them along the way :)
Anthony Bourdain‘s shows! Particularly Parts Unknown and The Layover! I’ve also recently read ’Holy Cow:An Indian Adventure’ by Sarah Macdonald which is a travel memoir about India and another book called ‘Staunch’ by Eleanor Wood (also about India.
Always LOVE Bourdain. I feel like Phil Rosenthal is like Bourdain's goofy dad cousin 😂 Holy Cow has been on my list for a while, I have to get to it! And I'll be sure to check out Staunch too
Holly Reubenstein's podcast 'The Travel Diaries' is honesty sooo good. She interviews absolute giants of the travel industry from the founder of Lonely Planet to Richard Branson. It's made me want to travel absolutley everywhere !
Oooh that's great to know! I'm always looking for good travel podcasts and it can be hard to find one you vibe with. I've been really enjoying Kinging-It's new travel podcast!
I've been watching Kara and Nate on Youtube as well.As for reading, I can recommend both 'Wild' by Cheryl Strayed (about her hiking the Pacific Crest Trail) and 'How Not to Travel the World' by Lauren Juliff (about a girl backpacking for the first time and all the obstacles that goes with it)
A little bit different but I have been binge watching Kara and Nate on Youtube. They have 700+ videos and make you feel jut like you’re there with them.
I'm reading "Wuthering Heights" right now! It's a pretty interesting classic novel wich is located at a snowy mountain, the central female character is always itching to travel and has very scapist trips to nearby locations, it's a very entertainting book.
I recommend reading some Virginia Woolf's novel's in this moment. I'm pretty obsessed with her AND DAMN SHE'S GOOD. First, "Mrs Dalloway" is a good novel to start catching her narrative, that can be complicated at first. That novel gave me so much city vibes, it was my first inspiration to visit the UK for the first time back in 2012. Then, "To the lighthouse" is my favourite Woolf's novel, this story is located in a lost place, but the insteresting thing is that the main character of this novela is a HOUSE. I also recommend "Orlando" and "The waves".
Also, there's two Mery Streep movies about her, "Mrs Dalloway" (1997) and "The hours" (2002) with Meryl Streep, Julianne Moore and Nicole Kidman.
PetsLover: Love this post! My dog is my best friend, and I wouldn’t trade our adventures for anything

The book Something in the water by Catherine Steadman involves scuba diving and a honeymoon in Bora Bora, definitely took me on a virtual holiday!
