Wondering how soundproofing can be the key to productivity in open offices? We all know that open spaces can be quite noisy, which often distracts employees. I think good soundproofing can help create a more comfortable environment to work in, reduce stress levels and increase concentration. What are your thoughts on this?

I agree that soundproofing is important to increase productivity. Noise can be really distracting, especially in open offices. I also think sound absorbing panels on the walls or even special carpets can help.
I absolutly do believe that soundproofing in offices is necessity in today’s world. For instance, HushOffice is a firm that produces office partitions, HushFree.Access.M, which is modified even for people with disability. This they claim that these cubicles offer good acoustic efficiency, in addition to offering a favorable working condition. They bring about noise reduction and privacy which is crucial in the current working environment that considers the open space working environment. — I am grateful to be able to work from home and do not have many distractions from various sounds, but if you are an office worker, you certainly would like to have your own separate space with no distractions.
